Fall is my absolute favorite season, I just can’t get enough of it! I would imagine it probably helps that my birthday is in October. The colorful leaves, the slightly chilly breeze [hey, that rhymes!] …breeze that makes for perfect sweater weather and of course the deliciousness of everything pumpkin! I am obsessed with pumpkin. Pumpkin pie, yes. Pumpkin cheesecake, OH YEAH. Pumpkin scones, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin muffins, yep yep and yep! And pumpkin spice lattes are for sure top on the list. Thus, I present you with a pumpkin spice latte in the form of a dessert for all you sweet-tooths out there like me! This Pumpkin Spice Latte Milkshake is your pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on top with a cup of coffee all in one!
- ⅓ cup canned pumpkin
- 3 shots espresso
- 6 scoops vanilla ice cream
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp clove
- ¼ tsp ginger
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- Brew espresso, place in refrigerator to chill to at least room temperature. If you don't have an espresso machine, simply purchase espresso beans at the store, and have them ground for a more course setting and brew like you would normally brew your coffee.
- Place all ingredients in blender and blend on low until smooth and creamy. If consistency is too runny, add more ice cream.
- Divide into two glasses and top with whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg.
