Ginger Carrot Orange Juice
This Ginger Carrot Orange Juice recipe is a super healthy, elevated version of your classic morning orange juice. With ginger, turmeric root, and carrot, this juice is packed with a ton of health benefits! And it tastes amazing.
This recipe was originally inspired by a restaurant called Urban Plates in San Diego, CA. They’re probably my favorite fast casual restaurant! All local and organic ingredients and the best BBQ chicken salad with avocados, roasted corn and red pepper, and a cilantro-lime vinaigrette dressing! Okay…I’m making myself hungry thinking about this. The point I was trying to get to…at Urban Plates they serve a fresh made carrot, ginger, orange juice and that’s how this recipe was inspired!
As you can see, this juice is SUPER orange. Like, if someone who couldn’t see color asked what orange looked like…I believe the color of this juice would be the definition of pure orange! The carrot, obviously good for us, added with the oranges both make this juice very naturally sweet tasting. Sweet means delicious in my world. The ginger and turmeric bring in a spiced tangy flavor that really balances out the recipe. Not to mention all the health benefits of juicing ginger and turmeric root.
Ginger & Turmeric
Ginger root has so many health benefits, it would be too many to list! My favorite reason juicing ginger is for digestive purposes. It is known to relieve heartburn, indigestion, nausea and vomiting. You can read more about the health benefits of ginger root, on Juicing for Health’s blog, she has a lot of great information!
Turmeric is also a great natural healer with its anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidants that protect against cancer, and its properties that promote good heart health. Again, learn more about the benefits of turmeric on Juicing for Health’s blog.

- Wash and chop carrots into about 2 inch long sections, remove rind from oranges and divide orange meat into quarters, and cut ginger and turmeric into 1 inch sections to prepare for juicing.
